Hey everyone!
Today I'm dropping a walkthrough video for my new device(s); AND Epic and AND Epic Turbo! (Waves - CLA Epic clones)
AND Epic uses convolution reverbs as they are really light on the CPU. AND Epic Turbo has slightly changed settings and uses MTurboReverbs but is very heavy on the CPU.
I'm sure there are quite a few bugs as the devices are pretty complicated so if you notice anything please let me know!
Check out the video below, check out the devices and let me know what you think!

V 1.0.1 Update
** Complete rework of "Crowd" lane
- Moved to using StereoSpread
- Matched tone using FreeformEQ
- Option to toggle / use delay, spectral or both modes at the same time to create "Crowd" effect.
- (Note) It doesn't sound exactly the same but you can get really close. Also note that this lane has -24db of gain on CLA Epic and as I didn't see the point, I brought it down only -16db. Just keep that in mind when comparing.
** Changed the Delay Mod background behavior to match CLA behavior which is basically a linear line for rate from 0 - 100% and the depth repeating 4 times over the course of 100%. (You can check out the transformation curves in the MP to get a visual)
** Added minimum and maximum values to reverbs on AND Epic Turbo (not sure how I missed that)
- Result of this was removing "Widening" from reverbs because I needed the extra MPs
** Converted CLA default RT High / Low values from integers to percents and added them to AND Epic Turbo
V 1.0.2 Update
** Changed some "Device" and "Type" behavior to fine control so that you no longer skip options.
** Changed "Sync" behavior to swap out "Time" and "Rate" using visibility to save space
** Probably something else but forgot to take notes lol

I've never used MXXXCore but that's my understanding from the Melda site. You would also need MStereoGenerator and MFlanger (because I got lazy on the delay modulation stage) but I'm going to remove the Flanger on the next update so you don't need it if you wait a bitAGIGA wrote: Sun Dec 06, 2020 1:09 pm So, to load this device I would need MXXXCore, MConvolutionMB, MDelayMB, right? Or anyhing else?
Thanks!
And you should definitely get MXXX, it's the best

Okay, first short try. Overall really great, ut the Crowd doesn´t do it to me, the sound is not getting wider as in the original one. More will follow, no time for testing, damn.

That would be MFlangerMB then I think. I have everything thats in there except MFlangerMB since I own the Mixing Bundle. The full MXXX would be overkill for me because I'm mostly mixing.HorusAnd wrote: Sun Dec 06, 2020 1:18 pmI've never used MXXXCore but that's my understanding from the Melda site. You're probably right. I can replace it with Stereo Spread or Stereo Expander to get closer to that effectSvama wrote: Sun Dec 06, 2020 1:27 pm Okay, first short try. All of that I believe until he gets to what he said the "Crowd" delay is.
If you get a chance, download CLA, mute everything but delay 4, turn the Dry / Wet to 100% wet, make sure it goes direct out and move the "Crowd" slider.... It's just a saturated stereo widening effect of some sort.
Funny enough, in the documentation, Waves doesn't call it a delay either. They call it a "sort of CLA invention" lol
I'll figure it out tho

Love it! These threads going around on how to do "this" with Melda plugins is inspirational. I admit to falling for the marketing hype on this plugin and picked this plugin up. I'm looking forward to checking out what you have done. Thanks for taking the time to make and share this with us!

Thank you so much for this preset. It’s the best example why I love and also hate Meldaproduction plugins. Love, because it is so flexible and can do mostly anything. You maybe don’t need other stuff than mxxx. Hate, because I can’t do it myself. Would like to do things like this myself. Maybe I doesn’t invest enough time in learning it, the learning curve is really high, too me.
I think that’s also the problem of other people.
Maybe it would help, if you could a how to video, if you have the time. Will also take a deeper look into your preset.
Thanks thanks thanks
To me MTurboreverb would also a better solution for the clone, cause mconvolution drops the audio every time the signal while changing the timing.
