We've been playing around a combination of electronic and organic stuff for quite a while now. For some reason we find it fascinating when the electronic side creates the hypnotic constant for live instruments, which can then bring some lively twist in to the mix. Tapani Rinne is an established jazz musician and saxophonist who has been doing exactly that for years already with multiple projects, most notably RinneRadio and SlowHill. We approached him with draft of "Oscillate" because we felt it would be a good match and in our opinion he grasped the mood right away and lit up the soul in the song."
