I thought it sounded great up until 2:11 when the cat jumped on the drum pads and wouldn't get off.

EQ. Low. Mids. Sounds wrong from the very begining.
Also, lead panned left is very out of place.

Final lead is clipping hard so it hurts

Otherwise could be very nice piece, blending oldschool style with some musicality.

Lush atmosphere. Really nice bassline and a sick pump! It all sounds promising until about 2:20 where things get too chaotic for my taste.

Mix could use some more warmth imo, 300-600 range. Perhaps you scooped too much away in pursuit of mud?

thanks all, feedback is useful often.
consensus seems to be that the 2nd half, especially the lead is not to everyone's taste.
Sounds like the build into that section was not the best too.

I'm not one to pigeon hole tracks/music, I just take it for what it is. Now that's out of the way, It's a cool track, loads going on that kept me interested. For the most part the mixing is great but as others have said, It's a bit loud for me and @ the 2:12 mark you played the stabs live but It kinda through me off the flow. I ended up concentrating more on the timing than the rest of the track. Other than that (although it's not my bag) I pretty much enjoyed it. Good work!

Thank you for the review, I appreciate it! Now listening to your song: it is starting out very nicely. I liked the first 2 minutes the best. I liked it overall; nice melodies. Audio quality is good. What state or country are you from?

Hi Bansaw ... this goes in the right direction ... mix is okish (could be better) ... the beginning is fine and also the second part until the downer starts (1:20) ... it is to early ... sounds strange ... and its another Bassdrum there (I guess it's a sample) ...

the part from around 2:13 is not ok ... the monster bass lead synth is completely out of sync and it just hurts ...

Btw. I like that the song is short ... it happens a lot ... maybe its not really trance ... more Dance or Big Room ...

There are good ideas ... so just go on with your music ... its worth it
