Hello
Here is my dark romanticism project.
I composed each tracks around July 2020 and would love to remaster them as since then I have more knowledge on the subject; but unfortunatly my iLok isn't recognized on my PC desktop since I used it on my laptop, I read there is something about licences transfer from one computer to another with a fee of 30$ which is a bit exaggerated in my opinion.
I hope you'll listen it to the end, nothing harsh, only melancholic music

Thanks for your time. Enjoy

Enjoyed the listen...all four tracks certainly had a definite style...quite 'film-noir' in many ways.
Réminiscence
Some very interesting ideas in here - great sound combos...but I felt (at times) that it didn't all quite sync together?
Espace
Nice melodic touches and a very atmospheric piano sound...bit heavy handed on the playing at times...would've liked a little bit more subtlety at times on such a melancholic piece.
Folie
Lovely textures in there and the spoken word sections worked for me. Again, I felt that there were a few moments where the background harmonies and melodies could've been linked together a little more effectively in this musical context?
ES
Much more insistent, driving piece to finish...quite dramatic and tense.

Thank you so much ChameleonMusic, I really appreciate for you to give an exact opinion of yourself on each tracks.
I recognize some moments in Réminiscence and Folie where the harmonic tension is a bit flat, and it's good you noticed it !
I will try to reinstall Cubase Pro 10 to see if my licences are just messed up on my pc desktop; I will give myself some time to start a new set...
Stay tuned o7

Hello!
Sooo, yeah... my PC desktop died few days ago, so I'm working on a Lenovo laptop with a 250go SSD + 120go SSD external.
EWQL Orchestra libraries are most of them installed on it, which are heavy files, but it doesn't refrain me from composing for Violon Noir.
A singer microphone is to be bought in about 1 week, but I keep this version of my 1st song with lyrics for the project as in demo state; and sung by myself! :]

Hope you enjoy it !

first bandcamp song:
interesting music. renaissance with a metal edge. i smile when the heavy guitars kill the violins.

I got highly inspirated by Akira Yamaoka and Shoji Meguro for this one. My 2 favorites Japanese artists.
