That is strange. There is nothing that prevents RC to resize its window to that size.
Are you on Windows? Will you try to resize the window slightly by dragging the right bottom corner? The window should redraw its contents.
Thanks,
Attila

Dragging the resize corner allows me to extend the "outer" RC app window all the way to the edge of the display, but at a certain point, the inner contents stop redrawing and show a black background. This leaves a strip of black on the right side of the display. Pic attached.

I'm happy to help you troubleshoot this further, as I realize most people don't have access to these monitors.

Good news! Based on your screenshot I found and fixed the UI rendering issue.
I'll send you a PM with a download link to the update with the fix.
Thanks!
Attila

The spot on the track that you right click to get the track menu, any chance on a double left click, it could select all the phrases on that track? (in addition to drag select)

Isn't Ctrl-A / Cmd-A sufficient for selecting all phrases?

Unless you had plans for that specific double click.. It would be much faster to double click and set focus to the selection wouldn't you think?musicdevelopments wrote:Isn't Ctrl-A / Cmd-A sufficient for selecting all phrases?

Not sure if this was addressed before or not, so, my apologies in advance..
When hitting the escape key, is there a way to prevent the play cursor not jump to the beginning of song? I'd prefer it to stay at the spot I clicked it before I hit esc.
The work flow issue is, I am working on a phrase that is near the end of the song and it is tedious to find that spot again each time... Are there markers to use?

It would be awesome if you are able to program something that detects the note lengths in the phrase containers.
I have a lot of costum phrases from some MIDI packs. The bad thing is, that they are all mixed...
Some phrases with short notes from staccato strings, some have long 1 bar notes from piano phrases...
It would be great if the software could automatically detect what's in the phrase, so you have an option to choose from if you want to create a phrase of only long notes, short notes, or 50%-50% etc. because sometimes if I just add all files to the container, I have to generate like 100 phrases until I get one with a constant rythm/style. It doesn't really sound good if you get some 1 bar notes after you got 2 bars of staccato strings...

Great idea, GAMJoker! A synthesized property, 'density' could be assigned to phrases, and maybe 'average polyphony', which could be used to select/filter/use similar phrases.
Thanks!

Strumming in Add Variations:- Can I suggest 3/4 ADDITIONAL parameters to add a groove (Like Reason ReGroove Feature - with a drop target like for Rhythm), a Randomizer (for start + length maybe also) and a Micro-Shift (A Push-Pull Effect for all notes - not the delay effect) (A bit Like in Reason 10 Arpegiator (its very unique features in Reason compared to other strumming in other DAW - Studio One/Cubase, etc)... Maybe I miss something, i'm very new to this Soft/forum!
Later I will suggest a gypsy strumming function in more advanced detail (with possible palm stop, staccato notes, based on MIDI Sampled DATA in DB) playable on Physical Modeling String VST's...
May I know BTW the use of Automatic in Direction, please? Has not explored it yet... Thanks!
Jean-Paul.

Yes, good idea, strumming could be improved.
According to my notes: 'Automatic' means that short notes are strummed alternating but it always begins with a downstroke.
If there is a note which is longer than or equals to 1/4, the direction becomes downstroke. For shorter notes it is alternating.
Thanks,
Attila

When entering chords into the chord library, as described at this post
viewtopic.php?f=168&t=430198&p=6035193& ... y#p6035193
I'd like to be able to select keys beyond 23 semitones of the root. Thirty-six would be more than enough. Twenty-six would cover everything in my current list.
