How to make T7 play to Melodyne's (ARA integration) generated tempomap?

Hi,
I don't really understand how I can transfer Melodyne's generated tempomap via ARA integration into Tracktion 7.
I managed to do so with Studio one v3 by drag-drop onto the tempolane and then see the tempo fluctuations.... but somehow not with Tracktion.
Or will Tracktion only just now show Melodyne's tempomap but still follow it?
Many thanks also for any further tips on how to work best with Melodyne's ARA integration and Tracktion 7 .
regards

in melodyne you can save a midi file that you drag n drop into tracktion. The tempo map should be imported. It does on T6 so it should be the same in t7.It's pretty poor at the moment imo. I really hope they don't rely on melodyne for tempo mapping, some of us don't mind simplicity, actually prefer it.

thanks for your reply!
ok, midi file in melodyne imported into Tracktion. hmmm... I think I've seen a more elegant soluting in Studio one 3. So I guess the ARA implementation could be improved in Tracktion 7?
If I understood correctly: I fully agree: current tempomapping in Tracktion is quite awkward imo and should be a development priority.

Yes. There was mention that a quick and accurate solution is in development now.
So imagine they are thinking something along the same lines as studio ones solution. If that's the case then it would require melodyne editor. Melodyne essential does detect the tempo map very well but not perfectly, editor allows you to correct where it's detection is off a little.
I guess we'll have to wait and see. If tracktion will allow for automatic detection and manual adjustment then that would very much rock and I won't hesitate to upgrade to 7

Just got myself the melodyne studio version... keeping my fingers crossed for refined ARA integration thencrashedthecar wrote:Yes. There was mention that a quick and accurate solution is in development now.
