preview of midi clip work, but it come always a bell simular sound. how can i choose other sound ?

Right click on the synth you want to use and select "Use plugin for MIDI preview"

It's best to use a fairly light weight synth that doesn't take too long to load.

Installed 8.1.12 Beta this evening. Install went well, and the program seems to be running normally. Startup does seem to be a bit quicker.

Also, the 3rd party plugins [SONiVOX] that I had problems with earlier seem to be working fine now!

How many Collective entires do you have? If you only have "Collective" and "Collective Content" you should be able to ignore them with the "Ignore" button.

There seems to be a web bug where Collective is getting delivered twice to some people and the second one you can't ignore. We're looking in to this now.

btw. identify key doesnt work. If i create arpegiator in F harmonic minor it is not present in proposed identification. Even simple base drum midi loop in F minor is not identifed.

very usefull enhancement with the midi preview and that it now work. Play 2 midi clips in browser is perfect in sync. only with audio, there is problem. the slowdown bug of controller draw is fix now. i have remove all videos of fixed bugs and this 3 bugs are still in.

in my bug report and usefull features channel there is a small video "amplesound AME riffer bend and vibrato easy add can sound good" . bending vibrato sound very good, not only on guitar. riffer offer easy add of good sounding bending and vibrato simular as notation programs. they have easy way to add. usefull for DAW too. when move note, the bnding / vibrato is move in riffer too btw. video capture is record in mono only

for browser preview i think it is very usefull when with a play all option the range between In and Out markers is play too in a loop together and in sync with the preview in the browser

I've fixed the issue now so that it won't attempt to check for updates if there is no internet connection.

Would be better if it was just optional in the first place, I have an internet connection, I just want startup to focus on initialisation of the app, not scanning for updates too.

With 8.1.12 beta I get the following error on Manjaro (an Arch variant) Linux on startup:

Waveform8: /usr/lib/libcurl.so.4: version `CURL_OPENSSL_3' not found (required by Waveform8)

I can install the libcurl-openssl package and replace the target of the symlink /usr/lib/libcurl.so.4 to /usr/lib/libcurl.so.4.4.0 with /usr/lib/libcurl-openssl-1.0/libcurl.so.4.4.0. Then Waveform8 starts, but other software complains:

The Waveform release 8.1.2 does not have this problem. It works with the standard libcurl.so using gnutls.
