Hi,
I finally have some time now to play with Cream in Ableton Live 9.04 (64 bit)
However, i can't manage to make Cream work in Live 9.
I use Cream VST 64 bit in Live. (latest version 1.03)
I insert Cream VST on a miditrack.
I insert a VST instrument on another midi track.
I route the midi out from cream track to VST track.
I put a midi clip on the cream track and play the clip.
Now i can hear this midi clip being fed to the VST instrument but in it's original state:
Cream doesn't run and does no arping to the midi clip.
I hope you can help me ![/img]

I also get the same behavior in Live 8, 32 bit instance of the Cream. Everything is setup like it should be, but Cream doesn't recognize any incoming MIDI notes nor it does anything when presets are loaded - just simple notes are triggering VST instrument which are played from Cream MIDI channel

I am glad i'm not the only one with this problem but how odd it is..
I emailed kirnu support about this problem but so far no reply.

I don't know if the issue is the same in live, but in reaper you have to set a selection for cream to arpeggiate. This is something I noticed was introduced in 1.0.3. (I suspect it's a bug), it's not necessary to turn on looping, and by select I mean the range selection in reaper as when you want to export a section of a sound/mix.

What happens if you select 'Kirnu Cream' on your VST Instrument 'Input Type', & VST 'Input Channel' ?vanhaze wrote:Hi,

no one should be using version 1.03 as it simply doesn't work, update to 1.04
