Been making some more XILS 3 patches after watching the Wish you were here documentary - here's one:

OK here is the updated bank - 72 patches - mostly very proggie and experimental sounds as befits a VCS recreation, including many inspired by Gong, King Crimson and Pink Floyd:

anyone who has my old version, to save yourselves confusion it might be best to delete the old bank in XILS before importing this as I have rearranged, improved and renamed some patches and under the current (not ideal) preset management system you will end up with dupes and not knowing which version is which.

It's free (as always) but there is a donation link on my website (in sig) if anyone chooses to do so

I like your demo, some great sounds in there. Unfortunately when I tried importing the bank, the sounds wouldn't make any noise. That's after it crashed twice in Ableton trying to change presets. I give up on this synth, nothing but problems.

If. You are using the le version you need to update it, Marcus just released a version that will import the full version banks although they may not sound perfect since some parameters will be stripped out.

Yeah, are you using LE? - it should import in the full version fine provided you are up-to-date (my version number is 1.5.0 March

Yes the last version adressed some users FR and therefore includes the ability to load the patches of the full version, though these patches can sound similar to the big version, but most likely will sound from different, to very very different.

To Echoes : If you want to use presets made for the full version of the Xils 3 synthesizer, please upgrade to the full version, or install the last version of the Xils 3 LE ( May 2012 ) wich can import these patches, with the limitations mentioned above.

My mistake, I thought these presets were made for LE. Yes I am using LE. When the presets loaded but didn't make sound, I assumed it was the same problem I often see when switching presets where the sound cuts out.
