Hello,

I think it would be a good addition, to make the Grid device able to understand multiple outputs in the device chain.

The following situation would help I think.

1. I have Sylenth on a track and it goes into the IEM Stereo encoder. The stereo encoder is a multichannel plugin, that encodes my stereo track to ambisonics audio format.

2. In an FX Grid on a container Group I grab these single outputs of the Stereo Encoder with the Audio Sidechain and send them to 16 Audio Out modules.

3. I do this in hope, that I can plug in a multichannel capable plugin in the Post FX slot. What I would need is the 16 Grid Outputs feeding into the post FX slot to be processed by the Ambi Decoder.

4. But the multi-out capability is missing from the Grid device. And I'm not even sure that would be enough, because the internal signal flow from the grid device into the post FX slot, would also need to transport the multiple channels.

5. However, if that would work, I could add another FX Grid behind that and again grab these Plugin outputs directly and route them out to my HW Outs.

That's still probably easier to implement than full multichannel tracks, so I thought about sharing this here.

The Grid limitation to be a non multi-out device, even though I can add multi audio outs would be a first step I think.
