So? Dom? When's it? Should I stay up this night (I'm in Europe) or should I wait until the day tomorrow?

Exactly. I'm happy for everybody else, but it's definitely not everyone.Ogopogo wrote:Hmm. I guess now we know that it's not literally everyone. Interesting, anyway...

Really looking forward to this. re: comment "i couldnt give a sh*t" amazing how people are keen to spread their personal negativity. the older i get the more the idiom, if you cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all, feels more and more relevant.
is this what having teenage kids is like? constant assertion of an opinion without any point to it?

The poster said everybody. Clearly it's not everybody.
And it's not negativity. As I said, I'm happy for those who are excited by it.
I just don't care for the haphazard use of everybody.
Much like the use of literally in literally every second sentence.

why do you check out this thread then if you`re not interested in Bitwig at all? Just to rant over it?

You're on Bitwig's official forum. It should go without saying that "everybody" would imply the people who are here for/have interest in the software and to support the developers. When you're at someone's house for dinner and a guest declares that everyone loves the food, he's not implying the whole neighborhood, the whole world, but the people at the dinner. He's not inviting the disgruntled next door neighbor to barge in and declare he hates their food and doesn't want to eat it.
Simple etiquette man..amazing where common sense, or the lack thereof, has drifted these days. Negativity has it's place, but negativity for the sake of being negative doesn't. With that said, take yours elsewhere.

One post of eight words = rant. Not sure about that.Suloo wrote:why do you check out this thread then if you`re not interested in Bitwig at all? Just to rant over it?
Anyway as I've said above I don't care, so I'm out.

All the best, look forward to taking it for a spin.
