Routing MIDI from one plugin to 4 plugins on 4 different channels

Hi,

I use Modulys as a step sequencer. It can send MIDI on 16 channels, so I can for example control 4 synths with it. I choose channel 1 to 4 and each channel receives MIDI on one of those 4 channels.
What I describe works perfectly in Reaper. I create 4 sends from Modulys track, each to one synth track and choose the corresponding channel.

But in Bitwig I don't manage to do that. Can this be done ? Do I have to use something like Loopmidi? I have that installed and tried with Hardware instrument (because of Midi out) but it only offers to send midi on Channel 1, whereas it would need "All Channels"...

Is there a solution to this problem? Or can't it be done ?

yeep some virtual MIDI cable is the only solution currently, u need a

-VST based VST host(which support MIDI channels, like Minihost Modular) drop it to Bitwig
-Modulys inside of it
-should connect Modulys with midiOut device from http://www.thepiz.org/plugins/?p=midiOut which able to send out the signal from Bitwig using MIDI channels

then looping back the sent signal to Bitwig using some virtual MIDI cable like the mentioned LoopBe also should use some

community script which support MIDI channels (don't forget to set the record quantization to remove the added looping delay)

The note receiver doesn't work, Bitwig doesn't let me add it. For some reason it thinks that Modulys outputs Audio, not Midi, so the Note receiver doesn't even shows up in the list if I want to add a plugin after Modulys.

Put it on the receiving channels - directly before the synthies.

Put a note pitch shifter after the modulys. Rename the note pitch shifter to GETMIDIFROMME.

Three tracks with midi note receivers set to GETMIDIFROMME should do the trick

why putting the note receiver dirctly after Modulys ( never heard of that thing ) ? Put it in the receiving channels, makes more sense in that way.

Anyways, you can put midiFX after Instruments ( Modulys is detected as such ), when you drag them from the browser instead of using the popup window.

EDIT: Oh wait... ...you can also select midiFX from the popup. Look at the left lower corner ( in the popup ). There you can select device filters.

Add the pitch shifter before Modulys. You can also force all devices to appear in the list by pressing a button in the bottom left of the browser. This doesn't mean the device will work but you can still add it.
