Bug - some plugins not possible to map from plugin GUI

Having mapped most of my plugins now I keep coming across plugins that Bitwig can't map from the plugin GUI - mapping only works from the generic param list. One example is 2C Aether.

Not sure if this is a Bitwig 2 bug or goes back to Bitwig 1 as I didn't use the device mapping much in that version, but I do know I can map from the gui in Kore 2 for the same plugins I've encountered this with so it does seem to be a Bitwig specific issue.
