After having re-written the VST3 code, but before rolling it out for all of our plug-ins, we want to make sure that everything is working properly. Podolski is our guinea pig test case. Please try it out and let us know how the update works for you.
If VST3 is not for you, you can still play with the new sounds in Podolski's preset library. The Unshushable Coktor (TUC), or as we call him around the office: Viktor, contributed 100 new presets. TUC Toys was designed as a bread-and-butter collection, offering great starting points for your own sound design and experimentation.
If you have not used Podolski before, you are missing out on a terrific sounding, straightforward and CPU-efficient synth. Why not give it a try, and give us your feedback about the update.

Please let us know what you find!
Enjoy,
- Urs
P.S.: If Podolski sounds off - there was a release some time ago where the tuning jumped up an octave. We've decided to keep it that way, so just set the octave and you're good.
P.P.S.: Note: This is a "pure" VST3 implementation, we did not do any workarounds to receive all MIDI Control Changes on 16 channels. Thus, MIDI Learn does not (yet) work directly, but MIDI Control Changes can be assigned via the list editor. We're working with Steinberg to find a "true VST3" solution for MIDI Learn in a future update.

I tried opening the Mac.zip with the latest Stuffit but got an error message "The structure of the archive is damaged." I downloaded twice and the file name was the same but the size was different (9.5 v 4.2MB)

Yowzah. Many thanks, Urs! I've been leaning more on VST3 lately, but there aren't many synths that I have with it, so I'll be happy to try this 'un.

64-bit VST3 seems to work fine on FL Studio 12.
The "don't allow stealing keyboard focus" option in FL Studio doesn't seem to work though. After I click somewhere on the GUI the computer keyboard doesn't play notes anymore until I disable/enable the option again.
I'll check in Ableton Suite 9 later.
Lovely new sounds in the new TUC Toys pack

Uh... I've checked Ableton Live and I found no problem, except the lack of VST3 support

I can confirm that behaviour, but it also happens with Waldorf Largo VST3 - most probably an issue with FL Studio when using VST3 VSTi.core wrote:64-bit VST3 seems to work fine on FL Studio 12.

Great update on Podolski guys! VST3 working well in Studio One v3 on OSX. Really liking the new features. Great little synth with a great sound. The GUI overhaul with the resizable options and preference panel (to match Diva and Zebra) is great.
Thanks

Great update thanks!
One thing - after setting the skin to "Retro" I think it is, I can't find a way to switch it back to the orange\blue version. How is this done?
Cheers

Just found it thanks.
I'm using a Wacom tablet, and the Podolski GUI doesn't respond to right clicks.
Cheers
