Hey
after watching this video:
I start thinking that it's would be cool to implement this thing in Repro-5 (it's basically a vintage knob). It already has a voice detune knob which works amazing, but the envelope randomizer is highly welcomed
I think you can do this kind of thing in Diva, but not exactly sure how
Anyway, the whole website on the subject is nuts, a lot of info here:
http://www.voicecomponentmodeling.com/
but the main question: can we see the Vintage knob implemented in Repro-5?
Cheers

Hi John,
Repro-5 does this already, to an extent, but only in an on/off manner for the envelopes. The default "analog" setting has the envelopes behave differently per voice, the "ideal" setting makes them behave exactly the same. While the unison "Detune" knob not only spreads the tuning of the unison voices, but also the filter cutoff value per voice.
You can achieve that in Diva as well, on the Trimmers page in the Variance panel, turn up the knobs for Cutoff and Env, for more variation between the voices.
Cheers

Yeah, I open up the Diva today and remind myself how this section called because it was a kinda set-and-forget part of my presets
Quick AB test between analog and ideal settings and it works great! Repro sounds so good with all analog settings "on" - wow
Cheers
