Wow, awesome! Most companies would call this a major upgrade and charge for it. Lots of new features and presets! The new skin is really nice too.

For whatever reason, the 100 new presets didn't appear in Komplete Kontrol until I did a manual rescan. If anyone else runs into the same thing, give that a try. You will also need the NKS Previews (a separate download) to add audio previews for the new presets.

Ah, yes, the rescan is mandatory in NKS hosts... we'll make a note to make this more prominent in future!

Everything's good after rescanning and updating the .previews folder. The new patches show up in a separate bank. Lots of really good ones!

Great video. What is a reverb filter type? What does it mean? I heard it, and it sounds nifty--just can't figure out what it means, what is going on.

It's like a Comb filter, but a full blown reverb algorithm. This is per voice and the Cutoff parameter correlates to room size, i.e. it's "tunable", even if not really harmonic. Unlike the Comb types, it creates a stereo image from a mono source.

But caution! It is *before* the VCA of the voice, such that, a short release phase will gate the reverb.

It's very nice for creating metallic sounds and percussive stuff. Or "bodies".

Yeah this is the official release, if you go to the website and download the installer it's exactly the same as have been linked to above.
