Best free C++ library for reading/writing MIDI files??

Hi everyone,

I've seen a number of free C++ libraries for reading MIDI files but are there any that are recommended?

The free ones I found with google are

Had a search yesterday about c++ midi libs and found this also:

Don't know if it's much help, I'm also looking for any working lib for making a synthedit module.

Thanks for replying, I couldn't find anything in the VST module architecture to open MIDI files, I'll probably try using the classes from the enborne site.
