regarding the sampling ... hip hop samples like this from everything, even itself. its a big deal now because its a little artist this time and not james brown or grandmaster flash or ....
...not that I think there's anything wrong with sampling per se (hey, I do it all the time), but I think if the entire song was lifted from one song, with just some tidbits added, then thats simply silly.
