many years ago, i was working at a gig.

he came in and said "hi im moby"

I probably would have responded with: “I’m so sorry to hear that...”

tbh, id heard stories about him beimg a dick but he was actually quite nice.
we where only arena staff, there to run for his sound team. he came and had a chat, asking normal chatty questions while he was checking stuff.
then when wed finished he ordered drinks for us to say thanks.

very few artists (him and prince) where the only two who ever took any time to chat to us or get us refreshments.

some where down right rude and if they where people whos records id own, id have burned them.

That Euro dance stuff (2 Unlimited, Real McCoy, Corona, Culture Beat) was just the "manufactured pop" of the early '90s... no different than Simon Cowell's manufactured pop of today, but today they use autotune and editing to fix a marketable yet mediocre singer, when back then that couldn't "fix" bad singing like they can today... so they used a different singer... it's the same thing really.
For the record, I really like those Euro acts... I'm just saying.
