NAMM What?

From what I've been reading so far, this year's NAMM has not much going on. I couldn't be there in person...but I've been eagerly awaiting for the day to begin...but after reading news/products from the first day or reporting, I'm a little dissapointed.

Lots of new guitars, effects...but as for big guys like Korg, Yamaha, Roland, NI, etc,...there aren't that many new and exciting things out there. Yes, NI introduced their new PIANO plug-in...*hurray*.

Roland introduced a few new instruments...but...SP-404? Hm...I'm really excited now!

Korg...nothing form them I've read yet...maybe they've dropped the price of the OASYS down to...say...$5000US?

Yamaha...S90ES, WOW!

Where's Alesis' Fusion keyboard? Now the retail price is back up to $2999US for the 8HD? Sweetwater is selling them at $1999US...well, pre-order price anyway. Did the cost of the keyboard went up that much?

OK, just some thoughts so far...waiting for more news to "trickle" in...very slowly....

What's your thought?

BTW, these are just personal thoughts...hope I didn't step on anyone's toe.
