I always had a soft spot for retro drum machines, the stranger, the better. As I recently was in need of more electronic gadget drums, I thought I'd give a try on assembling my own set. I'm not sure, if there is anyone else who likes this kind of mechanical drumming, but it doesn't hurt me to share the result. Below there are 3 kits I made for myself this week (only 5MB in download):
zrombietronic beatbox
and it sounds like that:
Mr Cyclotron
Mr Neutron
Ms Polonium
(this is the same midi pattern played on each set)
These samples are all synthetic, I rendered them using various vsti drum synths and many different vst effects. These are all 24 bit, wav files, plus Battery 2 patches. They are FREE to download and use, if you find a use.

I tried them out and they are pretty good! Not too wimpy, and not ridiculously effected.

I love the old mutant video games like fallout..the fallout makers have created fallout 3 the game is sick i mean it is 3d rendered and everything plus it is first person unlike the old fallout games which were overhead view...
kudos to the sampling guy!

I'm glad for the response - thanks.
Hey, I really like the Fallout series, I've been playing the first three games with pleasure, I heard there's no.3 now, but nowadays I don't have that much time for this kind of entertainment, maybe when I get retired.
