Hi everybody, I'm looking for the Gregorian chants which is available on an expansion card for the Roland JV-880. Is there anyone in here that could help me finding them? I need them for one song and cannot afford paying €199 at:https://www.bestservice.com/cantus.html
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Maybe buy one month of Roland Cloud and use the JV-1080 VSTi which apparently has all the expansion cards.

You can get this from Zampler Sounds or the March issue of Beat Magazine.

Thanks a bunch. That sounds like the cup of tea I'm looking for. I guess I apply for a membership and go on from there. Any more tips you can give me?Mr Arkadin wrote: ↑Mon May 03, 2021 2:56 pm Maybe buy one month of Roland Cloud and use the JV-1080 VSTi which apparently has all the expansion cards.
I am an old man, retired from work, and do music in a home studio (perfect during C-19 restrictions), using Garageband and there is no problems getting to work with GB, just drag and drop once I've bought the program? Thanks for any helpful information.

Personally I know nothing about Roland Cloud as I don't do subscription services and wouldn't normally recommend them to be honest, but if ots that exact sound you want I guess it'll be in there (which expansion has this sound by the way?).

Oh, I thought you meant Georgian chants, as in Bulldogs fans yelling at college football games...

I understand you after spending a few hours trying to find that specific sound sample. I simply have to mail them and see if they can help me out. Thanks for your input anyway.Mr Arkadin wrote: ↑Mon May 03, 2021 8:34 pm Personally I know nothing about Roland Cloud as I don't do subscription services and wouldn't normally recommend them to be honest, but if ots that exact sound you want I guess it'll be in there (which expansion has this sound by the way?).
I don't understand this question. Sorry. English is not my native language. It was a friend that had the 880 and as I recall it it was on an Orchestral Card. Not 100 % sure though.which expansion has this sound by the way?

OK, I see that the expansion card SR-JV80-13 Vocal Collection has Gregorian chants on it, so as long as the JV-1080 VST has the Vocal Collection card then that's probably the exact sound there (patches 50-54):

Sorry for the late reply but after finally getting in contact with the guy who had the expansion card it took several hours (for two old men) to find out exactly what card was used. Finally we came to the conclusion that it was the Orchestral card SR-JV80-2. Either Choir 1 or Choir 2, 227 and 228 that was used.Mr Arkadin wrote: ↑Tue May 04, 2021 5:58 pm OK, I see that the expansion card SR-JV80-13 Vocal Collection has Gregorian chants on it, so as long as the JV-1080 VST has the Vocal Collection card then that's probably the exact sound there (patches 50-54):
