How is the harmonic signature determined for this plugin? Are they created from reference sources or first hand from the actual hardware? Just curious...

All of them spice based. I'm re-designing all components via their datasheets. Even redesigning transformers and drawing power supplies.

But starting point is LTspice. I'm always starting with it to model my plugins.

i like his neves because they are so creamy and smooth. my other favorite on this pre amp so far is the quad 8. so open and spacious and detailed. the tape saturation is a nice extra.
