Hello musicians , could you explain me wich one it the most stable ?
Is element can load "Waves plugin shell ?" Does Element have an sidechain input (like the 'receive' tools of ddmf) ?

I find the interface for Kushview Element can be confusing unless you want to do simple chaining. There is a sidechain input that can be routed using the connection cables but not a send/receive module like MetaPlugin. It can load Waves plugins.

Element is unfinished and Metaplugin I find very unstable and has poor preset support. Bidule does almost everything, supports and all plugin formats and has excellent preset support and is super stable. Well worth the money as it is also a powerful modular audio processor in its own right. Freestyle is the easiest to use, only supports VST2 though at the moment, but has some cool features like snapshots and morphing.

Some people also like Mux Modular.
Element might be considered unfinished but I found it to be very stable. I second the recommedation for Bidule though.

Did Image-Line ever update the free Patcher plugin? That one is super capable but if I remember correctly, it was never really finished as a separate plugin.
Also.. what is the case with EnergyXT in 2020? Is it still viable?

Element is a work in progress but seems very stable. Metaplugin is less stable and not as featured. There's a lot more coming from Element if he doesn't stop development. It's very robust...loads Waves no problem. I absolutely love the ddmf, but in this case I'd go with Element.

Are you aware of MUX by MuTools? I think it beats both Element, Metaplugin and FL chainer hands down. Very stable, very customizable.
