I'd like to hear your experiences with this plugin.

How many istances of it do you open in a mix?
How often do you use convolute and filters section?

Thank you.
:)

Just recently picked up Trash 2 and enjoying abusing my guitar sound with it.
Haven't got much past trying and tweaking the presets so far.
I just got the Groove 3 tutorial videos to try and help me wrap my head around it.
I am interested in hearing how other people are using it too.
Maybe we could even share some of our own preset creations in this thread :)

I keep forgetting that I have it, which is silly - It's a real one-stop shop for sound sculpting.

Here's a free playlist that I will soon dig into. Not sure if it is above or below your current skills:

Here's a tip for rhythm texture:
Get a white noise loop, put a volume shaper like Gatekeeper on, use one of trash's edge presets like 'heavy burn' and you have a percussion loop that sounds like a shaker.
Record it as a wav, extract it's groove and you have it's template for any additional rhythmic tracks.

Here's another:
Automate the mix of the convolution with any synth to lean towards the end of the phrase/bar.

Here's another:
Wear a water-proof hat when it rains.

Awesome, will check.

After all this hype, the one use of Trash for me is multiband compression. Getting anywhere with that many distortion effects is much more difficult.
