looking for a "creative musical producer"

Hi,
I am new in this forum, i hope this is the right place to post this topic...
Anyway, the thing is that we are looking for someone to work on our songs. We are interested in someone who can re-build the songs if necessary, editing, deleting parts, etc.. with a "song perspective" in terms of composition and ofc also taking care about sound/mixing..

I don't know if the right word for that is "musical producer", sometimes i see it only referenced to recording/sound engineering and technical things. I am a bit lost here.

So the final question is, where can we find people with this kind of profile?

-specific forums ( maybe right here...?). or any website with porfolios or any other way to check a little bit his/her previous work.
