I'm the developer of Babya Logic, and below is several screenshots of some of the synths/instruments and programs included with it:

Guitar Amp Pro:

EXM and EFM synths:

MicroKit:

It's going to be available as freeware.

nice! throw all that together and give it all away for free, you will be giving some people a free introduction to sequencing and computer music....good for you!

will you make it host vst plugins? the world *really* needs a FREE vst host with basic sequencing abilities, even if it is only a few tracks. i think something like this would help ALL vst developers, because people could get involved and discover VSTs and sequencing, and learn about it, all without spending their money.

there's great free effects and synths, but no free sequencing host...

thanks

I don't get it: why does "Ultrasynth" look kinda hot, and the other ones look kinda generic?

Here are a couple more screenshots of what's included with Babya Logic:

EXM Enevelope Editor (used for creating user defined enevelopes foe use with the EXM synth):

Piano Studio:

Bass Maker (creates wave files using bass):

The other interfaces don't look as cool because they represent FM and oscilloscope type synths.

Also UltraSynth is DirectX based.

Piece of friendly advice for you here:
1) get a GUI library with a professional look and feel and use it consistently across your products
2) clean up your website. It's a mess and doesn't exactly inspire confidence.
3) If you have a daytime job: don't quit it quite yet.
Good luck :-)
When I was younger I used to be in doubt. These days I'm not so sure.

edit: haven't laughed that much for quite some time now - my ears are filled with tears! - thanks! :-D

Go check out the Alt.freeware (I can't remember it exactly) news group. The guy is a despised spammer. He offers freeware that no one wants and everyone hates. Just for laughs, go and ask them what they think of him and that he's posting his stuff here. The comments will be entertaining.

One guy's got a counting list of if it's Babya ware it's....

Crapware
Shi*ware
garbage
etc.
etc.

He's SERIOUSLY despised and spams and uses different id names and trolls, etc. etc. etc.

I tried his paint program once and it was garbage.

sorry but I think that's a seriously nasty post...

- how can you know his motives? Can you perhaps read his mind?

- how can you know that everyone 'hates' his software?
(can can anyone hate software anyway? If so people seriously need to get a life...)

- how can you know that his yet unreleased programme isn't better than his previous stuff?

Below is the last of Babya Logic screenshots:

Logic WaveStudio-a professional MP3/WAV player for DJ's and musciains. 2 players, 1 sample player with 10 channels, various mix types, auto-crossfade, id3 editor, it is also skinnable:

Babya Virtual Bassist-a virtual guitar instrument:

Two sound generators will also be included-:
Babya Tone Studio:

Babya SoundGen which can use ADSR envelopes :

If you're wondering about what some of the synths are based on-they use DirectX technologies. They will be accessible via Babya Logic or can be run indepedant (as some of them can generate files that are usuable in other hosts).
