Yamaha Piano Silent and MIDI interface

Hello,
I would appreciate any help about MIDI configuration for Yamaha Piano Silent.
The aim is to write music by directly using my Piano Keyboard.
I've connected the piano to my MacBook by means of MIDI iConnectivity UBS device with OUT/IN Midi ports.
I open Musescore, i configure the Midi connectivity device (which appears in the program list) as Input to write on the score but there is no signal when i depress the keys of the keyboard.
I tried GarageBand as well. The software see the MIDI port, but when I start recording there is no input in the program when I play the Keyboard.
I downloaded the iConnectivity configuration file. The device should be a "Plug and play" one. I checked the Yamaha piano system MIDI configuration and it seems everything all right.

So, do you have any suggestions?
