Do grownups use mic modelers?

Also I been attempting to use Izotopes Dialogue Match as a mic modeler after getting Accapella vocals of some of my favorite artists I model my sound after.

Got it in the group buy last year. Cant say I notice any difference. Rarely use it. 🤷‍♂️

Oak Felder uses a VMS, but he’s an all-Slate guy so it might be ‘product placement’

That didn't come across as product placement to me simply because he wasn't using Slate exclusively when he could have.

It just reminds me how any one of us talks when asked what we like to use, or a what's best thread. If I were to be interviewed I wouldn't be shy about what I like, or what I like to use even if I know others are not going to agree.

We've actually recently looked at it alongside the iRig microphone, which turned out to work quite decently.
