since doing this someone did one much better so go straight to page 5 of this thread for more info

Ok settings on this preset are mostly along the top! The top row of the main 24 controllers are the volume’s the four buttons in the bottom right are transport buttons. Play, bottom left. Record, hold down top left & press the play button below it. Stop & return to start are the same button, bottom right.

The buttons above the volume controls are mutes & solos.

The four banks of the very top row are all different!

Bank 1, controller 7 is master volume. Controller 8 is the jog wheel

Push buttons on the top row of bank 1, controller button 3, end 2 end. 4, punch. 5, click. 6, snap. 7, scroll. 8, loop

Bank 2, controller 7 is master volume. Controller 8 is the jog wheel

push buttons on bank 2, controller button 1, jumps the volumes, mutes solos & pans up 8 tracks. 2, jumps the volumes, mutes solos & pans down 8 tracks. 3, the volumes, mutes solos & pans up 1 track. 4, the volumes, mutes solos & pans down 1 track. 5, undo. 6, redo. 7, automation play. 8, automation record.

Bank 3, all the controllers for this are pan’s for the track that it is on & all the push buttons arm the track for recording,

Bank 4, doesn’t do any thing yet

Neither dose the first 16 controllers from the bottom

Also if you use the bcr input as a MCU it won’t let you also use it in the midi mapper!

My work around for this was to use midi ox & midi yoke so I could patch the input to the midi yoke input & set the midi yoke to assign to stuff in the cc mapped in tracktion 2

If you do this set the properties for the midi yoke input to only receive data sent on channel 16 & set the controllers you map to out put from channel 16!!!

The reason for this is that the MCU commands will also be sent to that input!! But none of them are on channel 16

On the other hand if you don’t want to use any other controllers for any thing then load the preset I have attached & set the bcr as the input for the MCU in the settings page

I have also attached my preset for midi ox if you chose to install it if you do then you will need to make the midi yoke 1 input be the MCU input in the settings page!! But keep the bcr as the out put, if you do this you can just set the bcr input to map the cc commands for T2’s midi mapped (on channel 16 only don’t forget!)

If you do use this preset in midi ox you will find that controllers 1 & 2 in bank 1 of the top row will let you zoom & scroll ;)

Good luck let me know how you get on

OK, I just ordered mine, it'll ship around the 29th and I'll hopefully get T2 and it around the same time. Thanks again for helping make it work as well as possible with T2!

So, if I use the BCR2000 as Mackie Control, will I still be able to use it with synths? I'm kinda green regarding setting up controllers. Ultimately I'd like presets on the Behringer and be able to switch between using it as a mixer and my favorite synths. I'm not too set on using it to control transport controls, the computer keyboard works well enough IMO.

to use the free controllers as well you will need midi yoke & midi ox or bomes midi translator

i'm using bomes midi translator & it means now i have every thing :)

full controll over all tracks pan's volume & mutes & solo's, master volume scroll up down left right zoom in & out & up & down, play stop record back to start abort, <takes deep breath> & have a load of controllers that i can map in the cc mapper

it would be nice if one day T2 supported the bcr2000 the same way that reason dose, witch is the same way it supports the MCU & C4, but i would still prefer folder tracks :D

Is midi translator more straightforward than midi ox? I have midi yoke installed and am comfortable with that, but midi ox was a bit much for me last time I dealt with it.

bome's is much more simple!!!

set the input on bomes to be the bcr & the output to be midi yoke 1, then in T2 set the mcu to come in on midi yoke 1 & out on the bcr midi port then the bcr input is free to controll the midi cc mapper in T2

Cool, I'll have to try that. It's still backordered until the 29th from zZSounds, I hate waiting :grr: It sounds like I'll have to figure it out on my own if I try using it on my Mac. That's not that likely though, my Oxygen8 is better suited to the laptop anyhoo.

dj, where did you find the MCU chart?

Your preset is ok (exept I don't have mute and solos for unknown reason), but I'm thinking about redesigning the board myself to suit my needs... and share it after of course.

Mine's still backordered and T2 in out. Now I'm a bit sad : There must be a high demand.
