Hello,

does someone known this plugin and how to do this with Meldaproduction plugins. The interesting part is the focus and field part. Focus feeds the mid signal into the side signal and field the opposite.
I would say it’s a mix of mstereoprocessor and mstereospread?!

Can someone help?

I added the filters and delays. Also the layout is similar to DrMS.
Everyone can download this preset from the online preset exchange for FREE!
It is for MXXX and called "Mid/Side Doctor"

Sorry, it doesn´t sound and work the same way like the original. Loading it up and your levels get reduced and the sound is altered.
Missing the Solo listening possibility for the different stages (Focus, Field, Mid, side). Different steepness filters are missing.

But it could get great.

OK.
New preset is called "MS Doctor"
Filter slope and Q added, also added solo buttons and default focus and field to 0% (this is why it sounded different in the default state)

Looking good.

Just an idea: is it worth putting each pair of panels (or all 4) onto separate tabs? And adding some metering?

I think it is better to have all on one screen for speed. However we could add a collapsible metering panel at the bottom?

I added the meters in each panel, they don't really take up much room. Plus it is really intuitive as to which meter is for which part.

The focus changes the panning in a wrong way. Panning doesn’t change at all, but it decreases the right side.

All I have done is send some of the mid into the side channel. There is no panning here. Although, I get the same results here.
There must be more to it than the signal flow diagram shows.
I have not been able to locate a manual for this plugin. Could you send it to me please, I will take a look and see if I can find out what to do.

I’ve written him an email and asked for it. We have to wait.
Maybe Vojtech can also take a look at it, cause I think this will be a important part for the mixing revolution plugin.

I have no comparison with the original Dr MS plugin but MS Doctor used together with automatic gain control produces really sweet results in a very intuitive way

OK, so. I will work on this one a little more with Vojtech. We will probably add a few more features (also some parameter name changing, so not to copy the DrMs)
I think it would be included in the mixing revolution, but let's just see how it develops, watch this space.
