you need the producer edition for the mixer to work.

Dropped notes.
Hi,
FL rewired to nuendo. Drums sequenced in FL
I have this sequnce playing where notes are being randomly dropped within FL. That missing kik or choke is irritating.
what could be the cause ?

I have no idea. I told them about this problem back before NAMM in mid January (FL rewired to Cubase SX dropping notes), and no response at all. I'm back on 4.52 because of it, because I need it to work properly, and 4.52 works properly.
Go and post at the tech support forum, and hopefully we can at least get a "we've confirmed this bug" or a "what is your hardware configuration" inquiry.
In the meantime I've got the SX3 upgrade in the mail, so maybe I'll have better luck with that. We'll see.
Good luck,
(stu.macQ)
Edit:
Here's another bug that I had with 5.01, and maybe you can confirm it. When you go into the channel settings for a sample ... under the "FUNC" tab, increase the delay feedback "FEED", and tell me if the delay plays accurately. In my set-up, it's slurred. Only when I open the ReWire plugin BEFORE I open the project file will the delay sync properly.

Ill try and see if the second bug you mention is occuring here. Ill also try and get to port the session to Tracktion. and then see if were facing the same problem.

How does one get to use FL rewired to tracktion ?
Usually, if the host applet is open, FL will launch in rewire mode. Not so with tracktion.
If i launch tracktion, then launch FL, FL launches in stand-alone mode and i get the "not enough i/o channels" error message.
If i insert a rewire channel in one of the tracktion channel inserts, and then clik on lauch editor, it works fine. But in such a senario, I will have to dedicate one channel of Tracktion for rewire.
Education please...
I have registered FL as a rewire client.

Edit : what happens very often is that I dont get the FL rewire window (which shuts down FL when in rewire mode). So I end up exiting FL using the cross button, and then shutting down tracktion.

Need help again here ppl..
Tracktion and FL
I have FL inserted as a single out VSTi within a track that contains a drum sequence which was arranged on a keyboard. I need to change the default drum samples and mix it again. I have managed to create a layer generator within FL, assigned it it's daughter channels, loaded samples and split them up. here is what I need to know.
first, how does the keymapping go when I split a number of daughter channels. read tis starts from the root key of the layer upwards.?
How can I assign a particular key to a daughter channel. I have tried to mess about with the root key assignments, but im not too clear...
In a keyboard workstation, one often has multiple keys trigerring the same sample, as is the case here. I would like to able to assign the same key mapping to the daughter channel. eg. tom 1 is played by c1,d1,e1.
I know i can strech the range over which the sampler will accept triggers and play the samlple, but this is resulting in a pitch change, i want to keep the pitch constant.
I have been cloning the channel and assigning a seperate key to this clone.
With the same example, I have c#1 and D#1 routed to hats (in the original seq). If I were to strech the Tom keyzone across C1-E1 I will be triggering the tom when the hat plays. Can I get more detailed control ?
As of now i am cloning the channel and assigning it the alternate key command...
Generally what is the best was to go about this ???
Thanks
Sidhu

ok.. i figured the last bit out.. am using FPC now... better... but I have to rearrange some midi patterns... ok.
Hered the next one... I downloaded the orchestral samples from the samplefusion site... now, each instrument folder (strings for example) has a number of wave files that are labled a key (Strings C1, Strings F#1 Strings A2 etc...). They however do not contain any mapping file... so how do i use them... do i have to manually make a layer, assign it daughter channels, load each individual wave onto one daughter samler, then keymap that wave till an area where the next sample kiks in..? I dont think ill get to do this right... howdo u guyz use them ???
