And there are diferences in quality in terms of composition, otherwise some artists would not be esteemed more talented than others.How do you define quality music ? Isn't that personal ? that's very relative. do you find classical music nerdy? for you to think that this music is nerd music you must be a pretty cool guy. 
anyway, everybody tries to do their own thing and posts it at music cafe for somebody to enjoy. not at all a bad thing imo.
