hello, i write from italy, so please ignore mistakes.
i was looking for analog question or solution but i could not find the answer.
i work with acid 5.0 pro.
how can i apply (if it's possible, i dont know) a vst (or directx) plugin to an instrument like bass or guitar plugged into the soundcard in real time? (while i'm playing)
i've got an audigy zs platinum.
thanks in advance
Fabio

It is very possible. You just need a VST host that support real time audio in. Don't know the particulars of ACID unfortunately, but if you only want to use your computer as an real time effect box and not actually record/arrange/sequence what you are playing you could use a mini host such as this:

You want to make sure that you have ASIO drivers for your soundcard, otherwise the latency (delay) will drive you insane.
There are lot of free guitar type VST effects around. Amp/cabinet simulators, distortion, flanging etc etc.
