I demand an Orchestral Capsule

Doesn't matter if it's huge and more expensive then a normal capsule, I want my orchestral soundz.
Other than EWQLSO Silver and GPO, I can't think of any orchestral libraries priced for the starving college student, so this would be a fantastic venture IMO.

I take it that you know about the Miroslav Philharmonik coming up?
If so - are you just getting impatient?
That I can understand. I would love to have this already myself.

Sonic Reality and IK aquired the entire Miroslav Vitous Orchestral and Choir archives including the full released libraries plus gigabytes of additional material that was never released that is absolutely incredible. We've been programming it for many months and it is sounding SWEET! You know, this one is not that far off from being released relative to the time of the announcement.

I've been hearing a lot about this Philharmonik, but I've been too lazy to check it out.
This is a little awkward.

As a current ST2 user who always looked at the Miroslav Vitous library longingly from afar in its hardware format incarnations, I am looking forward to Philharmonik as something of a dream come true. But it would be nice to see this content find its way into other formats, and a Capsule featuring a kind of best of would be huge. I'd love to get these sounds into NNXT for example.

Has there been an announced price for Philharmoik yet? The latest CM says it will be about $499 but I haven't seen a price anywhere else.
Could be I've just missed it somewhere obvious. I've been known to do that from time to time

I have been saving for Philharmonik, too. I've been thinking of getting an orchestral library for a while, but a classic set like Miroslov, with Squids signiture quality workmanship, that runs in Sampletank will be worth the wait. I haven't seen any crossgrade price announcements but I've seen the $499 MSRP a couple places. I hope it comes out in a month or so, because I'm in on the Capsules group buy right now.

that was the list price on the press release. from my experience the stores usually sell things for below list, on many popular products.smp wrote:Has there been an announced price for Philharmoik yet? The latest CM says it will be about $499 but I haven't seen a price anywhere else.

Yeah, that's the price. Although it should be higher considering it has both the Miroslav Orchestra AND Choir. It sure is coming out nice...
