Plugin similar to S1 Imager

I'm looking for a 'stereo compression' plug-in, however it must allow me to apply compression to only one side of the stereo image, and leave the other one alone.

Otherwise, is there a plug-in that I could use with S1 Imager that limits it to processing only one channel?

You sound like a man in need of a modular host or plug-in that allows modular routing.

I recommend Tracktion or energyXT... then you can use whatever compressor you want to process only one side.

Or, for free and only a wee bit more work-- just pan hard to the side you want to isolate and render... then put it on a separate track.

The thing is, the method must be through VST/DX plugins, not standalone applications.

Just a restriction I can't overcome.

No VST needed.

Also, eXT loads as a VST in your current setup.
