On a somewhat related note, if you're wondering what famous people (past and present) you share a birthday with, you can always visit Wikipedia and just type in the date.
I share a birthday with:
63 BC - Roman Emperor Augustus Caesar
1713 - King Ferdinand VI of Spain
1926 - John Coltrane
1930 - Ray Charles
1949 - Bruce Springsteen
And before you ask, yes, I am trying to find every excuse not to go to sleep just yet.

Assuming that my mother's pregnancy was all normal, I just counted 9 months back.toine6 wrote: Hmmm, I hate to ask how you know that...
But then, I bet they just listened to some nasty german stuff (in case there was any music in the elevator at all...).

Okay, well if we're using that formulation to come to our conclusions, then my song, which is all too fitting, ends up being --Sascha Franck wrote:Assuming that my mother's pregnancy was all normal, I just counted 9 months back.toine6 wrote: Hmmm, I hate to ask how you know that...

Rock Your Baby - George McCrae
I think I deserve some kind of prize for that one and "no" I didn't make it up, I've never even heard of the song.

I believe every thread should devolve into character attacks and witch-burning. It really helps the discussion.

Hehe, that's a nice disco tune - well, not exactly nice, all those programmed, no velocity 16th hats. Maybe I only like it for historical reasons.toine6 wrote:

Let It Be - Beatles (US)
Bridge Over Troubled Water - Simon & Garfunkel (UK)
Hmmm, don't these contradict somehow?!?
Edit: However, Let It Be was No#2 in Germany. No#1 was Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin... now, that explains something...
Edit2: When my parents did it, "Je t'aime - moi non plus" by Jane Birkin & Serge Gainsbourg entered German charts on #3. Now... what does that mean?!?

still my birthday has defintely been a good day for scotland - jim clark, kenny dalglish, patsy kensit (she took jim kerr the hell away from us) & me
in fact it is such an important day that the people of mauritious have a festival - Maha Shivaratree - to celebrate
wot i am annoyed about is that they have overtaken us in the world football rankings -
