I’m not sure if this question has been here before .Anyway - my drummer has older type of roland electric drums – PD 5.My question is – can I use those electric drums as a MIDI controller and trigger individual drum samples in BFD software ?
I ‘m little afraid I might need newer kind of electric drums for that.
Anybody has any experience with that?
I would appreciate any feedback.

Should work... PD-5 is just the name of the pad though. Do you know the name / model number of the controller/brain he's got the PD-5 hooked up to?
