New beta up right now.
I think this is the LAST one.

Now the dilema is: to release or not to release?

Wouldn't it be in contrast with the MrRay "senior"?
Nag screen: yes or not?

Can't say this sounds any better than the last one. But how could you improve on perfection?

I wouldn't blame you for one minute if you put a nag screen on this... You deserve big bux for this

Definitely release, the world needs to hear your wonderful creation.

Nag screen: yes or not?

I say 30 day demo with a reasonable purchase price of $15-$25.
(I think every developer that believes in their product should do this, 30 days is plenty of time to fall in love and if you do you won't be able stand the separation)

excellent work,thank you.I have Mark l Seventy Three which has just been hammered over the years.They sure are a marvel.MrRay certain gets the sound,especially the bass notes.I get a high pitched artifact after 10-20 secs.in Orion Plat.but it works well in Chainer and MiniHost.Go Guido.

Ok, thank you for your suggestions and for the patience!!

Nag screen, 15 seconds, same reg code as the other plugins. Who already has a reg code doesn't need a new one.
Anyway, even without a regcode it is still fully functional.. I don't like restrictions

Howdy.

I hate seeing anything go final (I find the tinkering process so rewarding), but Mr. Ray 73 seems to be as ready as anything could be.

Then again, 73 could really use the customizability of Sr, and Sr could really use the superb model of 73... both seem somehow incomplete when you compare features. Maybe I just like the simplicity of having it all in one plug, or maybe I just like the idea of not having to buy so many plugs, but I feel that folding them together would be a Good Thing (tm).

Hmm, Sr is really three plugs -- a Rhodes, a Wurly, and even a DX7 -- with flexible parameters. It's awfully hefty, too: what if you split it into three plugs, each takling the best bits of 73 and Sr? (Yes, I realize I just completely contradicted myself. Deal with it.

)

So what does this all mean? BFOM! Something about not being able to decide between flexibility (Sr) and specific near-perfection (73)... Anyway, I think I'd prefer to have more adjustability in 73; after all, it's pretty normal to mod your Rhodes.

Err, did I just demonstrate why software devs hate focus groups so much?

I think that the parameters of MrRay73 might be enough to tweak your sound as you see fit, and if you couple it with Effectizer you have all the effects of the Senior version. Many people prefer to use their own favourite effects in place of Effectizer, so to keep the cpu load down I'd better leave MrRay73 alone, with no effects.

I just wanted MrRay73 sound like a Rhodes Mark I, and nothing more. On the other hand, MrRay Senior can be tweaked until it sounds like everything but a Rhodes!

Setting the Mallet Stiffness to zero seems to make the whine in Orion Plat.64 Athlon.WinME. go.
