These guys are incredible. Anyone here the Seeds remixes? (without the blaring guitar, not that there's anything wrong with blaring guitar). I think you can learn alot from the synth player. He's amazing.

Yeah, bet they're awesome in concert. Sorry, haven't gotten into Gong much. I did like what I heard though. The roots of Prog Rock. Sounds like our tastes are similiar. Although I've been into everything from New Age to Death Metal, I still find myself breaking out an old Genesis album now and then.

Awesome band live (although I've had a run of bad luck catching them so only seen them once when I didn't fall asleep during their set :-)) and pretty damn good on album too: perfect for a Sunday morning I find.

I gather Ed Wynne has left them though, which, if true, would seriously lose their appeal in my opinion as it's his great guitar playing coupled with the rest of it that makes them stand out.

Seen them loads of times, supported them once..

seemed like a bunch of friendly down-to-earth chaps too!

Well...they used to be once upon a time. The first few proper albums were really good...But ahhh.....they've caught the old rockers disease and gone samey and unimaginative in their old age.

Still...I wouldn't mind having their studio...An old abandoned watermill...
