I had similar problems with the official UFO release. It did work with UFO beta020 though. Don't know if that version is still available on their server.
But didn't Squids talk about a free Sonic station refill for Reason users? Must be ready very soon.

You caught a genuine error on sonicreality.com with the broken link, which is fixed now (thanks), but the UFO there is the same version you already have. You may want to send an email to support@sonicreality.com if you haven't already and someone will answer you as soon as possible.ttoz wrote:Ufo is version 1.2.25
I don't know if this is the latest becuase the ufo download page on SR is down (forbidden message)...
I tried on my compaq laptop with WinXP Home SP1, default install no tweaking, and also tried on my brand new asus laptop WinXP Pro SP2, very tweaked system.
I tried aiff and wave outputs.
both laptops are pentium -m , compaq with 512 ram 1.8ghz, asus with 2gb ram 2.1 ghz.
what happens is continuously repeatable. all three discs go through the reading and converting process and everything is fine to that point. there is 1.7 odd GB of data in the conversion folders...when the UFO get to the final stage after reading the three discs, it crashes at about 2%. The stage I am talking about is when it tried to verify the references of the files.
anyway, nnxt cant read the results without this stage, it always gives a missing samples error and cannot autofind.
any clues??
Thanks

Any news on this. I have had the same issue. I tried the beta off the download website as well. that seemed to convert the patches ok but when using the refill packer from Propellerheads it crashes out saying that samples are missing.
the problem is that the refill packer does not say what samples are missing or from which patch..
I'd really like this sorted as Sonic Station takes up quite a chunk of disk space and getting it into a refill will allow for more SR libraries
PS I did e-mail chickensys before christmas about this and they said to check back later but I have had no further news..

The solution for Sonic Station in Reason is to get a free copy of Sonic Refill + Film Orchestra which we are offering for any Sonic Station owners who use Reason.
As for getting the latest UFO for Sonic Station, I believe it could be here: www.chickensys.com/ufo
But, for support questions on the UFO you can email support@chickensys.com
My suggestion is just to take advantage of the Sonic Refill and Film Orchestra offer which gives you all of the sounds of Sonic Station plus more.

Hi Squids... I remember reading something about that in another thread ages ago. Sounds ideal for me then as I have never had a problem with the Sampletank export.Squids wrote:My suggestion is just to take advantage of the Sonic Refill and Film Orchestra offer which gives you all of the sounds of Sonic Station plus more.
I vaguely remember we have to e-mail esoundz about this. My esoundz profile is missing some orders off it so I'm getting in touch with them now. If there is anything else I need to do, could you let me know?
cheers
