I ordered Sytrus in the group buy to get the DX and VST version... I don't use FL. I downloaded it and used the installer, but all I can get to show up is a trial version...... I followed the instructions (from the e-mail) to the letter when downloading. Also, I could never get the DX version to show up.... it was only when I used the VST and used the Sonar wrapper that the VST version showed up (and the trial version at that.) Interestingly, nothing showed up when the VSTi was placed in the folder where I wanted it... I had to move it to the defalt folder and scan it there. Soooo, any info on how to get the DX or VST version of Sytrus to show up in non-FL applications?

I use FLStudio, so I don't know what the email to people just buying the VST/DX version says. But typically in order to update an installation of an ImageLine product, you have to generate a reg code on the "My FLStudio" page and then run the reg code in order to get rid of "demo mode."

Was that part of your process?

Had the same problem with the Sytrus VSTi in Orion. But then Orion ain't Sonar, soooo, I guess I can't help.

You have got to download the version in the bottom left corner of the screen link you get sent in the email not the download in the middle of the top areea of the screen which is the demo, it should appear once you register on the page. You also have to run the ragister key first to store the info in the regitry (just incase anyone hasnt done that first).

First, I REALLY appreciate the this help. Even though I have the e-mails that contain my order #, receipts, links etc. when I tried to ask this on the FL website, some smarmy Administrator just locked my inquiry....

Okay, I will make sure I have downloaded the correct file (but I think that was already correct). I have a reg key, nowhere (that I saw did it mention running it)

OKAY!!!! I just clicked on it (the reg file), it ran a file and bingo.... the "trial version" is gone.

Thanks again for your help..... FL support (IMHO) is useless, but KvRrs come through!

Again...much appreciated. I looked at the attached e-mails and they mentioned upgrading FL studio etc., registering the plug in, downloading the reg file (but not what to do with it....I was expecting something where I had to tell Sytrus where it was... I never thought it was a program to be executed!!) Not much info on what to do if you just wanted the VST or DX version.
