Hi Duncan,

it's an amd xp 3000, asus-mobo, xp home and a matrox g-450, the latter might be the problem, as i could see the circle of plugin-guis when the install started and then it crashed - tellin' me something about new hardware which should be reinstalled if it keeps crashing. I can reproduce the blue screen if it is of any help.

Can you tell me more about your version of windows and any error messages that you recieved?

Yes, but you'll have to be patient as I'm working on that PC right now and will crash it later this afternoon

So here's the info, i would have done a screenshot, but well...

win xp home w/ sp1, amd xp 3000, asus a7n8x-e deluxe, matrox g-450 and a bluescreen:

"invalid work-queue item ... STOP 0 x 00000096 .... NDIS.SYS - address F76D3664
base at F76CE000 datestamp 3d6de413"

the datestamp-figures might be different - i couldn't read my handwriting anymore

..there's always one..!

if you use something like podium (as I do), you could fixed up an automation clip which is smoother than a babies bottom, and VST-automate to your hearts delight...

Failing that, ask mully what he's talking about..!
