I just upgraded to FL Studio 5.0.2, and to my chagrin, none of the VST plugins wrapped with Cakewalk's wrapper work properly. Do I need to wrap my VSTs with the FL wrapper? Will that interfere with the previous wrappage?

I'm not sure this is your problem, but it probably is. Upgrade your Cakewalk VST wrapper to 4.4.4 . I know this helped someone with similar problems in Sound Forge 7. If you have Sonar you can upgrade it to 4.02 and that will upgrade the wrapper. If you're not Sonar, I don't know if there's a standalone upgrade or what. Also, I just upgraded FL to 5.02 the other night and I don't have any problem, and my Cake wrapper is at 4.4.4.

Weird, I just updated to 4.02 last week, and I've wrapped a few times since then including a complete reset. I'll double-check the version on that cake wrapper (mmmm). Hopefully my VSTs will not remain forbidden donuts in FL for much longer.

Hi, it's really early in the morning here so I'm sorry if I'm being a bit thick but why are you trying to use the Cake wrapped versions of your VSTi's in Fruity?

Just scroll down the generator plugin list and enable the unwrapped versions. Hope this helps.

Codacoda, you were right. I did not scroll down far enough. I am a total dork. Now, back to the mad scientist laboratory that is FruityLoops.
