Hey just wondering what you use to cut off things? Bugpass crashes on multiple tracks on tracktion...

I just started using Ghi and Glow, so what do you use?
anyone know what would be best since i do it track by track, we want low cpu.

I use the built in EQ or high/low pass filter.

UAD Cambridge, cause I'll probably do some [minor] eq...

Tracktion's native lo-pass and hi-pass filters work quite well for me.

it looks like i should just go ahead and export my tracks into audition and do it from there. thx all

What the...?

Why not use T's native hi/low pass?

FWIW, BugPass is my new go-to for when I want to band-pass rather than low- or high- pass, and it's not yet crashed on me.

its high cpu usage. talking to my friend he says we should be hi and low cutting almost every track.

High CPU usage? It doesn't even put a dent in CPU usage. Something's wrong with your system... if Bugpass is crashing and the Tracktion Filter is giving you high CPU usage, something needs to be sorted out for sure.

for me, built-in will do. i dont need anything fancy.
be part of the solution, not the problem

but say you have to roll off low and high? you just drag two of them down? its weird.

Post

Why is that weird? I do it all the time.

That is what most people do when they need a low/high pass filter, unless there's a button for it on the gear they're using.

Why would you do it in Audition? That's so much extra work. If you INSIST on not using the T EQ then look here on this site for many other filters or EQ's. Why load it externally? It doesn't make sense.

Also, in what situation do you need to roll the highs and lows off of EVERYTHING? If that's really the case, then just put the filter/EQ on the master section.

It's not weird at all to have to put a high AND a low. <shrug>

Once we get to the bottom of your Bugpass problem, there will be that option. ;)
