Just ignoring the direction this thread has taken...
I've been looking at these pads for a while now. They are resold by a couple of different companies, and as already noted, some versions have midi and others don't. The really cool thing about these pads is that they are actually standard trigger pads. What this means is that you could take these pads and integrate them into another system, such as an Octapad, DrumKat, or Alesis module with trigger inputs. This is a fairly economical way to expand an existing drum system. Can't speak for the quality or the possibility of false triggering, but I've seen them in person and they do strike me as a case of getting what you pay for... which at $100 is not entirely a bad thing.

They look like incredibly good value and th egood things abou tcheap krap is its usually lightwieght too.
