did anybody like this? Or dislike it? And Why? What did you think about... Oh my God, I'm lonely *ggg*

I like the laidback, summery vibe you have on this. But the bass thud seems disproportionate in volume, and is taking away from the relaxation experience.

I really like the way you dance around the jazzy melody, everything comes in vaguely concealed parts. But the thud is working against you. Maybe try EQ'ing it down.

thud... thud? what's that? *lol* looked it up in the dictionary, I know what you mean... yes, the AccBass really is a bit to percussive... again work for "Dominion"... I like this "transient designer" so much...
and what the hell is "vaguely concealed"? ;-) okokok, looked it up as well...

Thanks for your liking :-)

Nice jazzy little track you created here!

THE GOOD:
Your choice of samples/sounds works really well, and play off each other really well. The swirly static noise is really quite tastefully done. The jazzy nylon guitar that kicks in around 2:04 is very cool.

THE BAD:
Yeah... the thumping kick is a little too much. I'd have to say, its the width of it that makes it stand out too much. I dunno, I mentioned my dislike of wide bottom end in another critique, and I think I'd have to say the same for the kick here. Maybe its just me, but I have always found a narrow bottom end more pleasing to my ears. The overall width of the kick brings it too upfront for my liking. But again, I am no pro, so you don't have to take my critique seriously at all...

FINAL VERDICT:
The choice/mix of instruments is top-notch, as well as the overall composition. Be proud of this one. I know I'd be if it were mine!

Cheers, and thanks for sharing!

you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.

love it, too, even with big boom bass *lol*

Thank you! :-))

Listened on my monitors at home. Thud doesn't seem as oppressive. (I know, what the hell is oppressive?)

Nice laidback tune still.

Well, I AM proud, erm, and I feel boring, and this is why I bump this thread by mentioning that I finished the track now... and participated in the KvR march contest with a cut down version...

there was thread earlier talking about the high levels of ambient/electronica on kvr, now the last two tracks i've heard (including this) have been high quality and entertaining, love this jazzed out sound!!

This is a very enjoyable track to my ears and i love the prominent bass and don't find it too oppressive. You've captured a very nice jazzy vibe here and blended in the modern sounds to great effect. Well done for producing something different from the norm. :)
