kinda both but not really vsts
you make what are called ensembles which can be shared with other reaktor and sessions users.
its also a modular host
its also very good at both of these things.

Hm see the thing is when your ready to release your project for sale dose kvr and other websites post them as all other material or not at all?

Reaktor isn't a host; it's a shell that you load ensembles and instruments into that can be used as a VST/VSTi, DXi, RTAS, or AU plugin or as a standalone app.

i stand corrected sorry,only ever had sessions so i was under the impression reaktor was more like vaz mod,sorry for the mix up and thanks ew for straightenin it out

beleive me you want answers aboutreaktor ew is up there with the best(if not the best)

To make it crystal clear, Reaktor is a software synthesizer. It does not host VST plugins, nor can it export as them. If you choose to sell the ensemble files you make in Reaktor, it is doubtful that KVR will list them, as they are not plugins. Patch Arena will likely run the press release though.

Reaktor is useful as a software sythesizer, for people who are interested in making music with it.

And how exactly do you plan to sell ensembles when you don't even know what Reaktor actually is? I mean, didn't the crack come with a quick read-me?

Why Make Reaktor Vst's If i can't Export them as Vst's? ...
