some musical lovesickness : a big dose of idm'ish clicks, cuts and glitches for the club ...

http://elektrophunk.packts.net/audio/we ... inatra.mp3

we've been using heizenbox 2.1 as well as mashup/sideslip v2, reaktor (roentgen, gobox, blood, fastfx, krypt, krell_verb...) and a dozen of pluggo3.5-plugs, also we've been playin' a bit with the 4-loop-feature of battery2 to mash up dozens of our very own sounds/samples. njoy!

2daniel, thank you so much for your feedback. we started to create that track weeks ago but thru some strange lovesickness we had to take a pause and, well, finally, the track even reflects that state of waiting to get "something" goin' on ... :-/ *sigh*

Hmm.

Nice bleeps & clicks. The kick is quite loud, but that's just the genre?
The tune could get much wilder at some point IMO. The tune isn't really going anywhere.... I'm more into the melodic 80s style stuff thoug so this doesn't quite do it for me anyway.

Excuse my english, but what's "glitchy"? Lotsa electro is called that, but I never really got the exact meaning, and there isn't necessarily anything in common with the tracks that the attribute is applied to...

cool! love the bit that comes in at 3:15 or so. dunno if it's my ears, or the genre, but the whole track feels very restrained - kinda boxed-in. actually gives it a nice tension, seems like something's gonna happen but you don't know what.

you're up there with villalobos, vath and stuff.

you guys have an album or something?

and could you maybe share your trade secrets a bit more? I try to come up with similar beats but mine don't sound nearly as good as yours. :help:

2tuz, not yet *lol* - but we got an very nice offer of mr. jay haze who recently released a bunch of tracks of villalobos and robag wruhme on his contexterror-label. we're gonna release some tunes in future on 'sushitech' (london) as well as 'punktmusic' (berlin) but currently there's no ep/album out, but you'll find a bunch of other tracks on our website's audio-section if you might be interested in.

well, especially for the drums we do use loads of nice reaktor-ensembles like deadbeats, roentgen, gobox, krypt and battery2 as a sample-player which alloes you to create nice glitches because of the brandnew feature of setting up to 4 different loops/loop-points for each single sample.
using multiple tracks for each drumsound allows us to spice up the dry signal with grainy plugz like heizenbox2.1, mashup, sideslip, xoxos' gum as well as smart_dx-bufferoverride. maybe mentioning these plugs might help you creating 'similar' sounds?

I wish you the best of luck with the deal. I think your music is top class, and one day I'm sure I'll hear them on vath's cocoon albums. in the mean time, I'll watch out for your own albums as well. I actually did listen to some of your tunes on your website.. excellent stuff. :D too bad I couldn't get some of them to play. "page cannot be displayed" :( . I really appreciate the tips. I'm gonna have enough money to buy reaktor one of these days and hopefully it will help me come up with cool tunes like yours.

good luck
