When I would eat at the college snack bar, I'd give em the name Lucifer. They would announce over the speaker, "Lucifer, your order is ready."

Lucifer 1.5 is ace, and seems to be very stable now (due to those 1065386 beta versions). Congrats Steve, its a great little effect :D

Had a crash in Orion using Lucifer's randomize function, but no surprise there..I don't blame your plug really, Orion's transport was running & moving a window can crash orion while that's operating..Also if I close Orion while Lucifer is loaded, Orion crashes instead of shutting down for some reason. :?

Thanks for the report, I've been starting on 1.51 to address these types of things.

I test mostly in FL Studio and Live4, and my betatesters use Cubase and EnergyXT. So, some host-specific issues tend to crop up with major changes (Orion always seems to be on that list).

I uploaded a new mac demo yesterday (to fix a problem with Cubase Mac)

I just uploaded a new 1.51 demo (to the same URL) to fix a smiliar problem with Logic 5.5.1 PC (maybe it will fix this Orion problem too, wanna try for me? :) ).

Power to whose name? Lucifer was originally the Latin word for the plantet Venus in Roman astrology. When the Hebrew version of the bible was written the word Lucifer didn't even exist. Even the Catholic church http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/09410a.htm says that Lucifer is not the name of the devil, but the state from which he fell.

That said, I'll definitely try out Lucifer and DM. I have not seen these plugins before.

We've done that already, KvR style (i.e. 10 pages and off-topic)

Don't do that. I made that mistake and now forced to spend 66.66$ I don't have on a crazy effect plugin.[/quote]

Ah, ok, I wasn't aware of that thread. I'll keep it on topic from here on out. :)

Hi tro, thanks for your report,

Lucifer works fine in FL for many people including me, what FL are you running??

Lucifer is an effect. Use a MIDIOUT device in FL to control it.

You should hear the demo beep, quiet at first.

do you see meters in/out?

Best,
Steve
